is going to have to send me the entire edited book when it's done (which will be a file-transfer FIASCO!!) but until then, my other readers/editors will have to wait before they can make their suggestions. Gorn, take your time, we shouldn't have any problem passing this thing around if my readers are ACTUALLY interested in helping. If they are, then they'll get their chance soon enough; not to mention, they should already be reading through it...which I'm pretty sure none are but hey, who cares? I hate reading too. The plan is to have edit, then to have her do a suggestion-based run-through. Once she's completely done, I'll make a new draft based on her suggestions used or unused amongst the lot of them. Then, once that's done, I'll send it to whoever the next editor will be. I will also resend it to any readers if they want to keep up with changes--otherwise, they'll wait till the final if they choose. How many drafts will this have? I dunno, maybe two or three. signed on as well, and I don't know how far in she is, but she offered to edit as did who I know better than to chastise for not reading (which I guarantee she hasn't 8D), but maybe a few drafts from now she'll be less busy. has pledged to re-read it (as of now she is the only one who has read the entire first draft) and specifically seek out continuity issues, plot holes, time errors, and the usual "confusing parts" of which there are plenty. As for and , I believe they may actually just be content reading it and giving light feedback as opposed to editing, which might actually be for the best. I don't mind extra viewpoints ;]. I would advise them both to consider waiting till a few drafts have gone by if that is the case though, because it will be harder to give feedback after they have read multiple, possibly conflicting versions of the same story. So anyway, just wanted to update everyone, as well as merge this with the gallery post.
